ShambaFresh was born out of frustration with Tanzania's fragmented agricultural supply chain. Our founders saw an opportunity to cut out the middlemen.
We launched our pilot programme with 5 partner farms and 20 households in Dar es Salaam, delivering our very first batch of Grade-A tomatoes and leafy greens.
After an overwhelmingly positive response, we expanded to serve restaurants, hotels, and corporate canteens across the city, growing our farm network to 35+ partners.
We extended our cold-chain logistics to cover Arusha and Mwanza, and launched our enterprise B2B platform to serve large hospitality chains.
With 500+ customers, 50+ farms, and a passion for fresh food, we are on a mission to become East Africa's most trusted farm-to-door brand.
